Sculpt Yourself Part 1

Do you wish your cheekbones were more defined or your forehead were a little shorter? Have you wondered how to make your face look less round?

One of the easiest makeup tricks is to use a bronzer a little deeper in shade than your own skin to sculpt your face.

Today we are going to talk about how to enhance cheekbones. Find the top of your cheekbone, follow it's contour to it's deepest or lowest point, that is where you want to place your bronzer. You may even want to suck in your cheeks to find the hollow area - that's the spot! Grab your contouring brush (angled blush brush) and put a little bronzer on it. Starting on your cheek from just above your earlobe gently sweep the bronzer along the lowest point of your cheekbone in a slightly curved line. Remember to keep the line soft and don't pass the apple (roundest part) of your cheek.

The key here is to create an illusion not an 80's hard core contoured cheek. Blend, blend, blend.... top with your favorite blush on your cheekbone then at the very top of your cheekbone use a highlight color (a light shimmery shade) to bring out your cheekbone.

Elain's favorites for this look are...
Contour: Bronze Beam Star Beam Powder
Blush: Pink Beige Chic Blush
Highlight: Champagne Star Catch Me Powder (this loose powder eye shadow is great for more than just the eyes!)
